Clinical Congress Is Family Friendly

If you are bringing family members with you to Clinical Congress, the ACS has family-friendly programs to help enhance your experience. These programs include:

Childcare Services

Camp ACS will be available for children ages 6 months to 17 years. ACCENT on Children’s Arrangements will oversee the program at the Marriott Marquis. Daily activities include arts and crafts, entertainment, and interactive games. Camp ACS will be available Saturday, October 19–Tuesday, October 22, 7:30 am–10:00 pm. Register for Camp ACS.

Little Medical School

Little Medical School is an educational enrichment program prepared by board-certified physicians and educators that allows children the opportunity to explore the world of medicine, science, and health in an engaging and fun way. Available for children 3 years and older this optional programming is offered as an add-on to Camp ACS. The program will be held at the Marriott Marquis on Sunday, October 20, 9:00 am–12:00 pm, and is supervised by a licensed childcare provider. Register for Little Medical School.

Lactation Room

A lactation room will be available at the Moscone Center during the meeting. The room location will be confirmed in onsite navigational materials.

Session Access for Infants
  • Children ages 1 year to 15 years are not permitted in the scientific sessions. Childcare services must be utilized.
  • Infants younger than 1 year of age are allowed in sessions when carried by a parent or guardian.
  • Guardians are asked to be mindful of the sessions and maintain a professional and disturbance-free environment at all times, including immediately stepping out of session rooms if an infant becomes fussy.
  • Children are never permitted in the Exhibit Hall.
Exhibit Hall

At no time are children of any age permitted in the Exhibit Hall.

Taste of the City

All family members are invited to participate in Taste of the City, a complimentary capstone event of Clinical Congress, where attendees can sample the cuisine and culture of the host location while networking with colleagues. This event will be on Tuesday, October 22, 5:30–7:30 pm. Casual dress is encouraged.
