National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer

The National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC) is based on successful international models that emphasize program structure, patient care processes, performance improvement, and performance measures. The NAPRC and its governance committees work to:

  • Develop consensus-based standards for the treatment of rectal cancer and a site visit process to monitor compliance.
  • Strengthen the scientific basis for improving care through quality measures and quality improvement.
  • Create education on the latest in rectal cancer care and the NAPRC standards.
