The theme of the 2024 ACS Quality and Safety Conference, being held July, 18–21, at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, CO, is “The Power of Value: Expanding Your Impact.” Six of the general sessions, including the first-ever general session workshop, will explore how to recognize, measure, and prove the value of your individual contributions, and of quality initiatives as a whole. Dr. Clifford Ko, Director of the ACS Division of Research and Optimal Patient Care, will lay out the vision for the conference and how value can be applied in many settings. You will learn how to navigate the conference and get the most out of your experience.
General Session 3 | The Power of Value: Expanding Your Impact

No matter the role you play, the value you contribute is vital. This session will share how leaders in quality improvement expand their impact through advancing knowledge, leadership, change management, implementation of new technologies, and teamwork.

In the first-ever general session workshop, attendees will break out into smaller workshop sessions, where faculty will lead discussions about what is currently being measured in their programs, areas for opportunity, lessons learned, and actionable next steps.
