Practice guidelines for how to manage surgical pain in opioid naïve and opioid-dependent patients are lacking. This specialty-specific series of webinars attempts to address that gap. For this series of webinars, surgical professionals will hear from colleagues on best practices for managing pain in the complex patient as well as be introduced to evidence-based guidelines that are new and/or emerging. Focused presentations and collaborative promotion involving additional associations and societies are planned for 2022.
