Exported Ultrasound Courses

How to Apply

The National Ultrasound Faculty (NUF) has approved a series of ultrasound courses to be made available for export at other venues. By exporting ultrasound courses, practicing residents and surgeons can learn new skills at their location that may be directly applicable to their practice. Below is more information on how to apply.

  • Identify the course.
  • Click on the course link (below) for more information.
  • Download and complete the purchase and registration form located on the course description page.
  • Submit the application to an ACS staff Liaison (listed below).

Prerequisite

The National Ultrasound Faculty (NUF) of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) has developed the Ultrasound Essentials for Surgeons (USES) course for physicians and medical professionals in ultrasound imaging. This online on-demand course provides the learner with basic education and training in ultrasound imaging as a foundation for specific clinical applications. In addition to being a prerequisite, this course is also available for purchase as a stand-alone course. Please click the link below to access the course information and purchase form.
