The National Ultrasound Faculty of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) has developed the Ultrasound Essentials for Surgical Residents course for residents interested in ultrasound imaging. This online, on-demand course provides surgical residency programs with a comprehensive course in ultrasound that can be conducted at their institution.
This preparatory skills instruction provides an overview of ultrasound related to breast, vascular, thyroid, parathyroid, and abdominal applications. The ultrasound techniques discussed in the skills companion online course will be demonstrated in a live skills workshop setting. Together, these online courses provide the surgical resident with a strong foundation in ultrasound. Note: All exported courses must have at least a 1:4 faculty-to-student ratio, and at least (1) NUF member on staff as faculty.
This course bundle does not provide AMA PRA Category 1 CME Credit ™. A certificate of completion will be provided upon conclusion of the course.
The USER course is available for purchase at a flat fee of $2000. Purchase of the ultrasound course package is based on an annual subscription. The annual subscription allows for unlimited access to the course content during the subscription year.
