Northeast Mexico Chapter of the American College of Surgeons is the smallest of ACS’ Mexico Chapters, with only 5 of the 32 states of Mexico included in the chapter’s boundaries. The Northeast Mexico Chapter is comprised of the states of Tamaulipas, Durango, Nuevo Leon, Coahuila and Chihuahua, with four of these states bordering with Texas. The Northeast Mexico Chapter is characterized by having predominantly industrial and commercial cities; however cities within the Chapter’s boundaries include important medical centers that offer services to those tourists who might need care while visiting the area. The heart of the Chapter resides in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, and most of the Chapter’s officers practice in this area. All of the member states included in the Chapter’s boundaries have recognized surgical training programs, and the Chapter counts resident members as an important part of its membership.
Membership in the American College of Surgeons does not include automatic enrollment in the local chapter. Please contact the individual listed below to learn more about how to join your chapter today!
