The Health Career Collaborative aims to increase diversity and inclusion in the healthcare field by providing opportunities for underrepresented individuals to explore and pursue careers in healthcare. The program provides mentorship, education, and career development opportunities to participating individuals and is currently active in 24 cities across the United States.
HCC also partners with healthcare organizations like ACS H.O.P.E. and other educational institutions to provide internships and job shadowing opportunities, allowing participants to gain hands-on experience in various healthcare fields. ACS H.O.P.E. assists their mission by recruiting surgeons and academic institutions interested in establishing programs at their schools. If you have any questions or want to get involved, please contact ACS H.O.P.E. at ogb@facs.org.
