August 5, 2024 | 10:15–11:15 am US CT

Whether you are a resident, attending, international medical graduate, or an incoming chief, having a mentor will help you in ways you do not anticipate in your career. Finding a mentor who fits your needs and will be able to champion your success is vital. In this moderated Q&A session, hear from experts in the surgical field and discuss how to find the best mentor that fits your needs as a surgeon. Panelists will be from the International Relations Committee, International Medical Graduate Subcommittee, Women in Surgery Committee, and the Committee to Advance DEI. After the moderated discussion, there will be time for an audience Q&A portion.
