Medical Student Executive Committee

The American College of Surgeons has over 3,800 medical students, many of whom are seeking leadership opportunities to advance their careers. The Medical Student Executive will serve as a representative addressing the needs of medical students throughout their four years of medical school. The objective is to choose three qualified medical students to fill the following positions for one year:

  • Chair
  • Vice-chair
  • Secretary

 Application Terms and Requirements: 

This award is open to all domestic and international medical student members with the following class status:

  • Chair (going into Medical Student Year 4)
  • Vice-chair (Medical Student Year 3)
  • Secretary (Medical Student Year 2-3)

Applicants must be current members of the American College of Surgeons.

Application Process

The application will be open from Friday, June 14 to Friday, July 12. Applications must be submitted online. The submission link will automatically close at 11:59 pm on Friday, July 12.

Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
