The Resident and Associate Society of the American College of Surgeons (RAS-ACS) sponsors a variety of committees that work on annual projects for the society during the year. As an ACS Resident Member or Associate Fellow, you are encouraged to get involved and join a RAS Committee. Each committee meets one Wednesday a month via conference call.
Use this form to let us know which committee(s) you're interested in joining. You will automatically be added to the mailing list.
RAS members serve as liaisons to over 60 committees, Board of Governors workgroups, and Advisory Councils across ACS. This year, RAS will be hosting a series of Liaison Feature Events to spotlight the vital role liaisons play in furthering the mission of RAS. The American College of Surgeons (ACS) is pleased to collaborate with KZA in offering four on-demand coding courses that will provide you with the tools necessary to increase revenue and decrease compliance risk. A workbook will be shipped to you prior to starting the on-demand course so you can follow along with the instructor as you learn at your own pace—starting and stopping when convenient. You will also be provided online access to the KZA Alumni site where you will find additional resources and frequently asked questions and correct coding.
As a Resident Member or Associate Fellow, you are encouraged to seek out your local ACS chapter to attend meetings and events in your local area. For more information, see Chapter information on the ACS website.
