Top 10 ways to get involved with RAS-ACS Advocacy

  1. Attend the Leadership and Advocacy Summit and Lobby Day in Washington, DC. Apply for a travel grant from the ACS to assist with funding your travel. Attend the RAS Workshop.
  2. Join the ACS Health Policy Advisory Council.
  3. Utilize the State Legislative Action Center.
  4. Advocate at the local level through your ACS Chapter. Get in touch with the officers of your chapter to participate.
  5. Join the RAS Advocacy and Issues Committee, and call in every first Wednesday of the month to participate in committee conference calls.
  6. Follow @SurgeonsVoice on Twitter.
  7. Donate to the SurgeonsPAC.
  8. Join the SurgeonsPAC Resident Leadership Council Program.
