More about Jason Wilson

Jason P. Wilson, MD, MBA, FACS, completed his general surgery residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville before completing his fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in 2011. He became interested in physician leadership and obtaining an advanced degree when he was at his first practice with Sentara Medical Group in Hampton, VA. While there he served as chair of the credentials committee and then chief of surgery at the Sentara CarePlex Hospital. He was also elected to serve on the Sentara Medical Group Board of Directors.

He serves on the Mastery of Breast Surgery Workgroup with the American Society of Breast Surgeons, the CME committee of the Society of Surgical Oncologists and was recently added as the Young Fellows Association liaison to the General Surgery Coding and Reimbursement Committee with the American College of Surgeons. He joined the Comprehensive Breast Care Center of Tampa Bay as a part of BayCare Medical Group in Clearwater, FL, in 2016 and finished his MBA with the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 2017.
