Daniel Klaristenfeld, MD, FACS, FASCRS, is an attending colorectal and general surgeon at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego, California. He completed his general surgery residency program in 2006 at Rhode Island Hospital and his colorectal surgery fellowship in 2008 at USC/LA County Hospital. Since 2008, he has been an attending surgeon at Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Klaristenfeld is the resident liaison for the San Diego Kaiser Permanente program and facilitates resident and medical student education in the surgery department. He has been active in the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons since 2011.
