More About Michele Manahan
Michele Manahan is an associate professor of plastic and reconstructive surgery and vice-chair of faculty and staff development and well-being at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD. She is also immediate past president, MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society. Dr. Manahan is the Young Fellows Association (YFA) Liaison to the Women in Surgery Committee (WiSC) of the American College of Surgeons.
The mission of WiSC is to promote an environment that fosters inclusion, respect and success. Dr. Manahan and a team of other WiSC members developed this toolkit for ACS members personal and professional use. The toolkit is available on the Women in Surgery Committee webpage.
