If you have an area of expertise and are willing to share your experience in future speaking engagements, please complete the application below. Applications were due by Tuesday, February 28, 2023. Please make sure to upload your biography and curriculum vitae. The YFA Education Workgroup will review the presentations and group them according to topics of interest. The updated Speakers Bureau will be viewable on the ACS website in May.
The ACS YFA Speakers Bureau is a platform for young surgeons to offer their expertise on clinical topics.
The Speakers Bureau is a list of ACS YFA members—Fellows of the ACS age of 45 and under—who self-identify themselves as experts in a clinical surgical topic and have a presentation ready to present to a live or virtual audience, or who are available to moderate an educational session or serve on an ACS committee. Presentations titles are arranged alphabetically according to identified topics and keywords. Learning objectives are also included in the listing.
Those wanting to contact a presenter, can make a request by e-mailing yfellows@facs.org. In your e-mail, please identify the title of the presentation and we will send you the presenter’s contact information.
YFA provides requestors with the presenters' names and their areas of expertise, and ACS does not take responsibility for the content or individual negotiations regarding each presentation or invitation. Those interested in finding speakers will do so according to their intuitional guidance and independently from the American College of Surgeons.
