Diverticulitis Webinar on May 2 Showcases Clinical Congress Session with New Content

The most popular panel session at Clinical Congress 2023 in Boston was “Diverticulitis: The Widening Gap Between Data and Practice.”

In order to extend the learning from the session, an hour-long webinar will be held on Thursday, May 2. The webinar, is part of the new Clinical Congress Showcase series. For this program, moderator Alessandro Fichera, MD, FACS, and Co-Moderator Patricia Sylla, MD, FACS, will oversee presentations on nonantibiotic management of uncomplicated diverticulitis, the Hartmann procedure, treatment in immunocompromised patients, and disparities in the treatment of acute diverticulitis. The program also will feature commentary from James Fleshman, MD, FACS, FASCRS, and Steven D. Wexner, MD, FACS. 

Clinical Congress 2023 registrants can participate for free; new registrants will be charged a small fee. All attendees will have the opportunity to earn a maximum of 2.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
