The ACS is now accepting nominations for two prestigious 2023 resident awards through June 12.
The 2023 ACS Resident Award for Exemplary Teaching, presented annually, aims to recognize teaching excellence and highlights teaching as an important academic pursuit of surgery residents.
Eligible nominees must be residents in good standing from an accredited surgery residency program, including surgery specialty programs, as of May 15, 2023. Graduating chief residents are eligible. Each surgery residency program may nominate one resident. Nominations will be accepted from program directors and department chairs and will be reviewed by an independent review panel appointed by the ACS Committee on Resident Education and the Division of Education. Visit the ACS Resident Award for Exemplary Teaching web page for more details.
