ACS Quality Verification Program Webinar Provides Information on Performance Metrics

Successful participation in the ACS Quality Verification Program (QVP)—the comprehensive surgical quality improvement framework designed for all hospitals—requires some effort. However, the ACS is here to provide resources that will guide understanding and implementation in your hospital with ACS QVP Webinars. On Friday, August 5, at 12:00 noon CT, Michael Chang, MD, FACS, surgical quality officer emeritus at the University of South Alabama Health will discuss the ACS QVP standards related to Part III: Evaluation.

Dr. Chang will detail the definition and performance metrics for each standard, as well as give examples of how each standard may apply in different hospital setting. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during a live Q&A with expert panelists and representatives from the ACS QVP.

This webinar is the third in a four-part series reviewing the 12 ACS QVP Standards as they relate to Leadership, Care, Evaluation, and Improvement.
