Call for Cancer Programs Accreditation Site Reviewers

August 23, 2022

The Commission on Cancer (CoC), National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), and National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC) are seeking physicians to join their accreditation site reviewer teams.

Site reviewers will visit hospitals nationwide throughout the US and Puerto Rico, in person and virtually, to review cancer programs seeking accreditation or re-accreditation. Site reviewers will meet and present to key leadership at each program, review charts and cases, and assess program compliance with the requirements for all standards.

  • CoC: Qualified candidates must be actively practicing physicians who specialize in cancer care and are employed or affiliated with a CoC-accredited program. Once you have reviewed the minimum qualifications to be a CoC Site Reviewer and feel that you meet the criteria, complete and submit the application.
  • NAPBC: Qualified candidates must be actively practicing physicians who specialize in breast cancer care and are employed or affiliated with a NAPBC-accredited program. Once you have reviewed the minimum qualifications to be a NAPBC Site Reviewer and feel that you meet the criteria, complete and submit the application.
  • NAPRC: Qualified candidates must be actively practicing physicians who specialize in rectal cancer care and are employed or affiliated with a NAPRC-accredited program or a program that has applied for NAPRC accreditation. Once you have reviewed the minimum qualifications to be a NAPRC Site Reviewer and feel that you meet the criteria, complete and submit the application.

Contact CoC@facs.org, NAPBC@facs.org, or NAPRC@facs.org, respectively, to learn more about becoming a site reviewer.
