The ACS Young Fellows Association invites young surgeons to submit your application for the Annual ACS Speed Mentoring Event taking place at the Clinical Congress 2024 in San Francisco, California.

Residents and Associate Fellow surgeons can apply as mentees to participate in this event, 4:30 to 5:30 pm on Monday, October 21 at the Moscone Convention Center.

During the session, each mentee will meet with up to five mentors for 10 minutes each. After the session, mentees are encouraged to keep in contact with one or two mentors with whom they can develop a long- term mentoring relationship.

If you are interested in applying, access the application here. Applications are due on Friday, August 30.

Within the application is a request to select five topic pairs for which you seek mentoring advice. Mentee/mentor pairs will be matched based on these areas of interest, as well as an attempt to have each mentee meet with a blend of junior and senior fellow members of the College with various experiences and training.

Participation in the program requires attending the one-hour event at Clinical Congress and filling out a post-event questionnaire.
