International Surgeons: Dec. 13 Is Deadline for Two Opportunities

International surgeons, chapters, and organizations are encouraged to learn more about and apply for two unique opportunities before the Friday, December 13 application deadline:

ACS/AAST International Scholarship
The scholarship of $5,000 provides the recipient with an opportunity to attend The American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST) annual meeting, as well as a visit to one or two Level I Trauma Centers to learn about the standards for a trauma program and the importance of multidisciplinary acute care surgery care.

International Opportunity Fund (Dr. Pon Fund)
This opportunity provides for international chapters or other eligible organizations to create a local educational course that includes faculty from the ACS.
