After last week’s earthquakes in Turkey and Syria killed more than 40,000, the ACS is gathering resources to provide aid for the devastating humanitarian crisis. The College has established a web page to house current and new information about the crisis.
The ACS Turkey Chapter has identified drinking water, food, clothing, blankets, tents, and other basic necessities as immediate needs.
If you are interested in donating, Forbes and The New York Times have cited Charity Navigator as a reliable source for highlighting reputable charities. The following organizations have a 100% rating for the Turkey and Syria earthquake relief efforts.
The ACS is sharing the following information as a service to its members; individuals should exercise due diligence to select the opportunities that best suit their situation.
