NCI Leader Will Deliver Keynote at This Month’s ACS Cancer Conference

Join Cancer Programs leaders and your peers in Austin, Texas, for 3 days of learning, interaction, and networking at the 2024 ACS Cancer Conference: Improving Cancer Care for All. Registration remains now open for the conference, which will take place February 22–24 and include sessions and workshops developed by program leaders who serve the ACS Cancer Programs.

This conference is for all members of the multidisciplinary care team at healthcare facilities that treat patients with cancer, including oncologic surgeons, cancer program directors, chief executive officers, cancer committee chairs, nurses, navigators, and more.

A highlight of this year’s conference will be the Keynote Address by James L. Gulley, MD, PhD, FACP, Clinical Director and Co-Director for the Center for Immuno-Oncology and the National Cancer Institute. Dr. Gulley is an internationally recognized expert in cancer immunotherapy with a strong interest in prostate cancer. His areas of expertise include cancer immunology and immunotherapy, prostate cancer, therapeutic cancer vaccines, immune checkpoint inhibitors, clinical trials, and the combination of immunotherapy with other therapy.

Conference content has been designed to address new accreditation standards, services, and resources to improve care, and future innovations that have been developed to support the accredited ACS Commission on Cancer, National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers, and National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer facilities and the patients they serve.
