Researcher Discusses Conflicts of Interest in Robotic GI Surgery Studies

Five author videos are available from the January 2024 issue of the Journal of the American College of Surgeons. Among them is a video by Dr. Hassan Aziz, who discusses his Analysis of Conflicts of Interest in Studies Related to Robotics in Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Wall Surgery. The analysis, which earned a research award during Clinical Congress 2023, looked at more than 300 studies in major surgical journals and found significant inaccuracies in conflict of interest statements.
