January 2, 2024

Join Cancer Program leaders and your peers in Austin, Texas, for 3 days of learning, interaction, and networking at the 2024 ACS Cancer Conference: Improving Cancer Care for All. Registration is open for the conference, which takes place February 22–24 and includes sessions and workshops. The early bird registration deadline is this Friday, January 5.

This conference is for all members of the multidisciplinary care team at healthcare facilities that treat patients with cancer, including oncologic surgeons, cancer program directors, chief executive officers, cancer committee chairs, nurses, navigators, and more.

Cancer content has been designed to address new accreditation standards, services, and resources to improve care, and future innovations that have been developed to support the accredited Commission on Cancer, National Accreditation Program for Breast Cancers, and National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer facilities and patients they serve.

Attendees will hear cancer leaders:

  • Describe changes to accreditation standards, services, and resources available to cancer programs, and important future developments available to accredited cancer programs
  • Illustrate how the quality improvement process, quality measures, National Cancer Database real-time reports, American Joint Committee on Cancer staging protocols, operative standards and synoptic operative reports, and other tools can be applied in local programs to improve performance and care for patients with cancer
  • Develop and implement efficient and effective program structures and processes to ensure a successful accreditation site visit
