As the ACS welcomes 2024, throughout January the College will be recognizing ACS Surgeon Well-Being Month, which highlights the College’s dedication to developing well-being initiatives, resources, partnerships, and advocacy.
The College inaugurated Surgeon Well-Being Month in January 2021 to have a dedicated time that honored the importance of well-being throughout one’s surgical career.
As we kick off this month, make sure to discover or review the many well-being resources on the ACS website. Among the resources are three impactful webinars, recorded in past years.
This webinar features surgeons sharing their experience of navigating their surgical career, well-being, and being a present caregiver, from lessons learned to boundaries, compassion, empathy, the influence of being a surgeon caregiver, career trajectory, and more.
