This Pride Month, Tania K. Arora, MD, FACS, FSSO, Vice-Chair of the CADEI, sat down with Nicole Goulet, MD, FACS, Founding President of the Association of Out Surgeons and Allies (AOSA). In this profile, Dr. Goulet discusses her work to champion diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout her surgical career, highlighting the unique circumstances and challenges faced by LGBTQ+ surgeons in a field that has only recently started to diversify.
