The 2024 Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP) Annual Conference abstract submission is open, but the deadline to submit is approaching soon. Submissions are due by 11:59 pm CT on Sunday, June 30. All submitted abstracts received will be reviewed and considered for poster presentation during the conference, November 12–14 in Denver, Colorado.

The call for abstracts represents an opportunity for trauma professionals to share with other TQIP centers the interesting initiatives put in place at their institutions.

Abstracts may be submitted on any QI topic, but the ACS is specifically calling for abstracts on the topics including trauma verification, rural trauma care, injury prevention, and hemorrhage control, among others. New topics of interest include communication, equity, and high-value care.

Enhancing Quality through Communication is the theme of the 2024 TQIP Annual Conference. The conference program will examine the ways teams communicate with their patients and others as well as explore how increasing the effectiveness of this communication can enhance the quality of care delivered.
