Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a full-time BC/BE trauma surgeon to join the only accredited Level I Trauma Center in Lancaster County. Join a collaborative team of eight surgeons and 10 APPs who ensure 24-hour-a-day, 7-days-a-week coverage for responding to any emergency and who work closely with Penn Medicine Lancaster General’s Neurosurgical Trauma team and Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster. Our surgeons can get involved in resident education with our rotating students from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. This practice not only provides care for patients who experience traumatic injuries, but also is on call to provide surgical care for emergency conditions, including acute appendicitis, acute cholecystitis, and perforated or ischemic bowel. Our operating room readiness team is on standby around the clock and is equipped with the most advanced tools for delivering high quality care.
Pediatric Surgeon| Carilion Clinic Roanoke, VA
Carilion Clinic is searching for a third pediatric surgeon to join an established group of two experienced pediatric surgeons in Roanoke, VA. Carilion Children's Hospital serves as the tertiary referral center for 185,000 children in southwest Virginia and provides a full range of pediatric services including the only designated Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center west of Richmond. Carilion Children’s is located within Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, a 763- bed teaching/tertiary care center, and is comprised of an eight-bed PICU, a 27-bed inpatient unit, a 60-bed NICU/intermediate nursing unit, and a 27 bed Pediatric Emergency Department. Ground and air transportation services are provided by a pediatric critical care transport team. The Section of Pediatric Surgery is in the Department of Surgery which is comprised of 77 faculty surgeons, 55 advanced care practitioners, and 47 residents/fellows general surgery, plastic surgery, and neurosurgery residencies and surgical critical care and advanced GI/Minimally Invasive Surgery fellowships.
