Registration remains open for the ACS Leadership & Advocacy Summit (Saturday, April 5—Tuesday, April 8 in Washington, DC), and the deadline to reserve housing at the Grand Hyatt Washington hotel, where the summit will be held, is this Thursday, March 13.

The Leadership Summit starts on Saturday, April 5, with optional workshops on making the most of communications opportunities, sustaining lifelong competency, and the foundation of trust.

On Sunday during the Leadership Summit, compelling speakers will address key themes in surgical leadership. Attendees will hear about new and innovative ways to face challenges and enhance their leadership skills, both in and out of the operating room.

The Advocacy Summit will take place Sunday evening, April 6, to Tuesday, April 8, and will provide US members with an update on ACS policy priorities.

The Keynote Address this year will be delivered by Margaret Brennan, chief foreign affairs correspondent for CBS News and moderator of Face the Nation. With her experience interviewing global political leaders, scientists, and health authorities, her take on “Political Outlook & News of the Day” is expected to be captivating.

On Monday, panel sessions will be complemented by advocacy training in preparation for the scheduled congressional visits on Tuesday.

Don’t miss out—register and reserve your housing today.
