ACS Case Reviews in Surgery is a peer-reviewed, open-access, online-only case report journal that presents high-quality, in-depth analyses of actual surgical cases.

The journal is published six times per year, and each issue features 20 case reports from surgical specialties, including breast, colorectal, pediatric, trauma, bariatric, general, and rural surgery. Full article PDFs of the case report are available, in addition to the web version.

The recently released March issue includes articles on Post-Recovery Complications of Gastrointestinal Abscesses and Perforations in COVID-19 Patients, Abdominal Compartment Syndrome in Burn Patients: Not Always a Consequence of Excess Fluid Resuscitation, and many more.
