Young surgeons can share their expertise with health institutions, conference, and more by joining the YFA-ACS Speakers Bureau.
May 24, 2022
The Young Fellows Association (YFA) of the ACS has developed a platform for Young Surgeons to offer their expertise on Clinical Topics.
The Speakers Bureau is a list of ACS YFA members—Fellows of the ACS age 45 and under—who self-identify themselves as experts in a clinical surgical topic and have a presentation ready to present to a live or virtual audience, or who are available to moderate an educational session or serve on an ACS committee. Presentations titles are arranged alphabetically according to identified topics and keywords. Learning objectives are also included in the listing.
Who might use the list?
Institutions in need of presenters or moderators for national, regional or local conferences; surgical programs or institutions looking for speakers for Grand Rounds or educational conference speakers for their division, institution, or surgical academic organization; workshops and continuing education.
How to access the list?
Presentations are arranged alphabetically by identified topics and keywords. Learning objectives are also included in the listing. Those wanting to contact a presenter, can make a request by emailing Yfellows@facs.org. In your email, please identify the title of the presentation and we will send you the presenter’s contact information.
