The division has a strong multidisciplinary bariatric program and established minimally invasive program including a one-year fellowship training program in minimally invasive surgery. Division Chief Trauma, Surgical Critical Care and Emergency General Surgery - Rutgers New Jersey Medical School Department of Surgery | Newark

The successful candidate will hold a faculty appointment at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and lead a highly accomplished division of trauma, critical care, and emergency general surgery.  The successful candidate also will be appointed to hold the endowed Wesley J. Howe Professor of Trauma Surgery.  Integral to the position will be the ability to foster innovative research, lead academically and educationally oriented faculty, and demonstrate the skills to propel the division to new heights in its clinical, research, and teaching missions.
