Attend Fireside Chat with Dr. L.D. Britt, ACS Past-President

The ACS Academy of Master Surgeon Educators virtual Fireside Chat Series connects you with experts for an open dialog driven by audience questions. The next session, 7:00–8:00 pm on Thursday, May 30, will be a discussion with ACS Past-President L. D. Britt, MD, MPH, FACS, FCCM, and will focus on his career and lessons learned.

Dr. Britt is the Henry Ford Professor and Edward J. Brickhouse Chair of the Department of Surgery at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk. He was Co-Chair of the Steering Committee that created the Academy, a Past-Chair of the ACS Board of Regents, and a leader and member of many other ACS committees, in addition to leading other noteworthy medical organizations.

The host for the Fireside Chat is Mohsen M. Shabahang, MD, PhD, FACS, Chair of the Academy’s Subcommittee on Novel Teaching and Assessment Methods and Educational.
