The ACS seeks applications from women surgeons who would like to participate as mentors or mentees in the Women in Surgery Committee Mentorship Program. The deadline is Friday, May 12.
Applicants to the program must be ACS Fellows, Associate Fellows, or currently in the process of applying for ACS Fellowship and meet other eligibility requirements. The program focuses on offering mentorship in a variety of areas, including career development, research goals, work-life balance, practice development, transition to practice, and leadership development.
Mentees are paired with the best possible mentor who is an established female Fellow of the College. The mentorship program is 1-year in duration, beginning in September/October each year.
