Convocation

Sunday, October 22

6:00–8:00 pm

Plan to attend this special Convocation ceremony, where Fellowship will be conferred on the 2023 Initiate class. The ceremony also will include recognition of Honorary Fellows, presentation of the Distinguished Service Award, installation of the ACS Officers, and Presidential Address by Henri R. Ford, MD, MHA, FACS.

Opening Ceremony

Monday, October 23

8:00–9:00 am

The new President presides at the Opening Ceremony and will introduce the Honorary Fellows, along with award recipients. An annual overview of the College will be reported by Executive Director & CEO Patricia L. Turner, MD, MBA, FACS.

Wellness Events

October 23–25

Engage your body and spirit with a variety of wellness activities throughout the week, such as guided city neighborhood runs, yoga, and a step challenge—all designed to help you build energy and gain clarity for the meeting. Register in advance for these activities, as some classes are filling up quickly.

Annual Business Meeting of Members

4:15–5:15 pm

All ACS members are invited to attend and hear committee reports, award presentations, and the introduction of the President-Elect.

Taste of the City

Wednesday, October 25

5:30–7:30 pm

Dress casually and close out your Clinical Congress 2023 experience at Taste of the City by sampling Boston cuisine and culture. Enjoy good food, drinks, and music on the last night of Clinical Congress. No registration is required for this free event, and family members are welcome to attend.
