Joe Sharma, MD, FACS, Chair of the B/G Telehealth Workgroup, Discusses the Growing Technology

Adoption and implementation of telehealth services grew rapidly during the COVID-19 pandemic, including with surgeons, to aid in the provision of safe patient care. The ACS has been on the forefront of examining how this expanding technology affects surgeons.
