Attend Academy Virtual Grand Rounds on the Role of Virtual Interviews

Later this month, the ACS Academy of Master Surgeon Educators Grand Rounds Series will present a virtual panel discussion exploring the role of virtual technology in the interview and selection process of residents and other surgical learners. The session will be Wednesday, September 28, at 7:00 pm CT. The panelists include:

  • Daniel C. Farber, MD, FACS, residency program director and vice-chair for education at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia
  • Jennifer LaFemina, MD, FACS, program director of the general surgery residency program at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center, Worcester
  • Jeremy Lipman, MD, MHPE, FACS, FASCRS, designated institutional official and director of graduate medical education at Cleveland Clinic, OH

This Grand Rounds will be moderated by Mohsen M. Shabahang, MD, PhD, FACS, Chair of the Subcommittee on Novel Teaching and Assessment Methods and Educational Resources for the ACS Academy of Master Surgeon Educators. Participation in the Academy Virtual Grand Rounds is designated for 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.
