Mittal, MD, FACS; Balazs Kovacs, MD; Máté Csucska, MD; and Ross M Bremner, MD, PhD, in the May Journal of the American College of Surgeons (JACS) report that esophagogastric junction disruption severity was clearly graded based on a simple scoring method, which may improve evaluation and development of clinical strategies for gastroesophageal reflux disease.
