Authors Review Impact of NCDB on Cancer Care

An article published in In the January issue of The Bulletin of the American College of Surgeons reviews the history of the National Cancer Database (NCDB) and its impact on cancer care. “Today’s National Cancer Database is Key to a Better Tomorrow” explores how the NCDB has evolved to enhance quality improvement and research initiatives. Over the past 37 years, the NCDB has amassed data from more than 45 million cancer patients dating back to 1985 to become one of the largest cancer registries in the world.
