Register Today for the March ACS Cancer Programs Conference

Don’t miss your opportunity to take part in the ACS Cancer Conference: Where Cancer Care Comes Together, March 1-4 at the Hilton Atlanta in Atlanta, GA. The conference is in-person only and will cater to a wide range of specialties going beyond accreditation standards to include all entities within ACS Cancer Programs.

All team members from accredited cancer programs are encouraged to attend, including physicians, advanced practice providers, allied health professionals, administrators, nurses, program coordinators, and cancer registrars.

“This unique, interactive, information-rich conference is the best opportunity for cancer caregivers to discuss the latest and most important aspects of cancer care,” said National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC) Chair Steven D. Wexner, MD, PhD(Hon), FACS, FRCSEng, FRCSEd, director of the Digestive Disease Institute at Cleveland Clinic Florida, Weston. “Internationally renowned experts will share information on numerous areas, including synoptic reports, standards, data collection and analysis, and quality improvement initiatives. Anyone and everyone involved in cancer care will tremendously benefit from participating in this outstanding conference.”

All three ACS cancer accreditation programs will be featured at the conference, with sessions from the CoC, NAPRC, and a full day of programming centered around the new National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers standards. You won’t want to miss the American Joint Committee on Cancer’s review of new disease site protocols, the Cancer Surgery Standards Program’s update on operative standards and synoptic reporting, as well as special sessions from the Cancer Research Program and National Cancer Database. Quality improvement will be a special area of focus throughout the conference, including sessions on using quality measures to drive improvement efforts and a stepwise approach to implementing quality improvement initiatives.
