2023 ACS Cancer Conference: A Great Success!

Nearly 350 constituents from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), Commission on Cancer (CoC), and National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC) gathered in Atlanta, GA last week to attend the ACS Cancer Conference: Where Cancer Care Comes Together. 

Attendees heard from Cancer Programs Leaders on multiple topics, including in-depth information on the new NAPBC standards, operative standards and synoptic reporting, specialty accreditation challenges and solutions, American Join Committee on Cancer staging, new opportunities for the ACS Cancer Research Program, site visit prep, Cancer Programs 2024 and beyond, and the keynote address from American Cancer Society Chief Patient Officer Arif Kamal, MD, MBA, MHS, FACP, FAAHPM, FASCO.
