NCCS Offers Survivorship Champions Webinar

April 4, 2024

On Wednesday, May 1, at 11:00 am CT, the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship (NCCS)  will host the Survivorship Champions webinar “Making Integrative Oncology Regular & Routine: A Practical Guide to Meeting the Demands of Patients and the Needs of Health Systems.” Presenters Alyssa McManamon, MD, FACP, and Terri Crudup, MBA, will discuss actions oncology teams can implement to make integrative practices the norm in cancer treatment and survivorship care. The webinar—intended for clinicians, researchers, and patient advocates—is free, but registration is required.

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society Cancer Facts & Figures 2023, there will be an estimated 288,300 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in the US and 34,700 men will die from the disease this year.
