CSSP Focus Group Update

April 18, 2024

Thank you to those who volunteered to participate in the upcoming CSSP focus group to review and provide feedback on a new operative standards product. The focus group participants have been selected and emailed separately. If you did not receive an email, you were not selected to participate. We thank you for your willingness to participate in ongoing efforts by the CSSP to educate surgeons on the technical conduct of oncologic surgery and set standards for surgical care.

New Prostate Cancer Awareness Month Marketing Tools Available

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society Cancer Facts & Figures 2023, there will be an estimated 288,300 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in the US and 34,700 men will die from the disease this year.
