Help Your Patients Quit Smoking with Evidence-Based Tool from the ACS

Quit Smoking Before Your Operation, part of the ACS Informed Surgical Prep series of patient education materials, can help your patients achieve their smoking cessation goals. The materials, which can be accessed online or purchased in packs of 25, include an overview of cessation benefits, a plan for “quit day” preparation, tips for dealing with withdrawal,  and a listing of helpful resources.
