If you missed our webinar on pregnancy-associated breast cancer, the recording is now available to view. The webinar reviewed the most challenging scenarios encountered in breast cancer care. Presenters reviewed the risks and benefits of each treatment modality that must be considered so that the patient fully understands and feels confident about the treatment decisions she and her physician are making (individualized shared decision-making), whether this includes surgery while pregnant, systemic therapy, early delivery of the child, or terminating the pregnancy. Continuing education credits are not offered for this content.
The webinar recording and slides, as well as additional educational resources, can be accessed on the ACS Cancer Programs website. Questions and comments about these educational activities can be sent to CancerProgramsEvents@facs.org.
