Register Today for 2024 ACS Quality and Safety Conference

May 16, 2024

Are you attending the 2024 ACS Quality and Safety Conference, July 18–21 in Denver, Colorado? Don’t miss sessions at the conference highlighting the work of ACS Cancer Programs.

Speakers will discuss root causes of time delays and tools to ensure timely care for breast cancer treatment during No Time Like the Present: Tools for Timely Care. The session will reflect on lessons learned from the PROMPT quality improvement initiative and use case studies to highlight achieving timely care in different program settings.

Do you have questions about operative reports? The session Let’s Get Practical: Supporting Implementation of Operative Standards will focus on practical strategies to support implementation of the Commission on Cancer (CoC) operative standards and dive deep into developing auditing systems for real-time feedback.

Finally, when it comes to finding sustainable implementation strategies for your program, the Adapt, Adopt, or Abandon: Implementation Strategy Preference Among Programs session will explore which strategies the programs participating in the Just ASK/Beyond ASK Collaborative were more likely to adopt and adapt over time, versus which strategies were less successful (and ultimately abandoned).

Don’t forget to check out the abstract sessions that will highlight innovations and case studies in cancer quality improvement.
