Update on the PROMPT Study for Breast Patients

In the May issue of the Bulletin of the American College of Surgeons, authors from the NAPBC and ACS Cancer Research Program discuss the Patient-Reported Observations on Medical Procedure Timeliness for Breast Patients (PROMPT) study. PROMPT was a two-year quality collaborative that examined the time interval from screening to diagnosis to first treatment for patients with breast disease.

New Prostate Cancer Awareness Month Marketing Tools Available

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society Cancer Facts & Figures 2023, there will be an estimated 288,300 new cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in the US and 34,700 men will die from the disease this year.
