Call for Volunteers: CoC/NAPBC Standard 4.2 Oncology Nursing Workgroup

June 27, 2024

The Commission on Cancer (CoC) and National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) are requesting volunteers for a workgroup that will review the current documentation requirements and compliance measures for CoC and NAPBC Standard 4.2: Oncology Nursing Credentials.

The members of the Oncology Nursing Workgroup will share their experiences and insights with meeting and documenting compliance for Standard 4.2.  Volunteers must be affiliated with a cancer program that is accredited by the CoC and/or NAPBC. Registered nurse and advanced practice registered nurse volunteers are strongly preferred. Individuals with experience tracking and documenting compliance with Standard 4.2 on behalf of their cancer program are also preferred.

The workgroup will be active throughout the summer and fall of 2024, with periodic virtual meetings scheduled Monday–Friday in the afternoon/early evening hours. Weekend meetings may occasionally be scheduled.

To volunteer for the workgroup, complete this online survey.
